The Gardner Farm Inn hosts a weekend of strummed instrument activities designed to bring together guitar and other plucked string enthusiasts to explore the worlds of South American and Flamenco strumming in a fun, friendly, and music-loving setting.The Guitar Intensive at the Gardner Farm Inn is a weekend of social gatherings, demonstrations, master led discussion, individual instruction, performance opportunities, and a musical soirée complete with South American/Spanish food and wines. The Master Artists leading the weekend activities are guitarist Scott Hill and charango player Carlos Boltes of the Alturas Duo, whose focus is the South American folk and oral tradition as well as contemporary classical, and Maria Zemantauski, acclaimed nylon-string guitarist and composer whose style is heavily influenced by Spanish classical and flamenco music and dance. Booking Terms & Conditions
- When making your reservation for a Room and the Guitar Intensive Weekend ("Strumming from A to Z), you are purchasing a stay for one individual in one room at the inn for two (2) nights, breakfast and dinner Saturday and breakfast Sunday. Also included is the $195 registration fee for admission for one person to all Strumming classes and activities. If you wish to register a significant other for the weekend, you must purchase a second registration ticket below.
- We want you to enjoy your stay. Please notify your host John Hughes of any allergies, particularly food allergies. You will want to take note that two retired greyhounds live on the property. Travelers should be dog-friendly.
- Please note, all sales are final. In the event a cancellation is absolutely necessary, a $200 cancellation fee will be applied.
